About the Plan
To develop the 2021-26 Morsani College of Medicine (MCOM) strategic plan, a Strategic Planning Committee of 31 members representing various departments and offices was formed in spring of 2020 by the MCOM dean, Charles J. Lockwood, MD, MHCM.
The Committee was charged with taking a broad, highly critical, dispassionate, and comprehensive look at the state of the three mission areas (education, research, and clinical) to identify opportunities for improvement and set a course for guiding future directions.
The plan builds on past lessons-learned, outlines clear goals and objectives for a five-year period, and aligns with the USF strategic plan as well as MCOM’s vision, mission, and values.
