The USF MS Center was designated as a National MS Society Center for Comprehensive Care in 2012 and has maintained this nationally recognized status. Centers for Comprehensive care are. Centers for Comprehensive Care are led by clinicians with demonstrated knowledge and experience in treating MS. These clinicians offer and coordinate an array of medical, nursing, mental health, rehabilitation and social services, and have a strong collaborative relationship with the National MS Society.

In addition to treatment with approved immunomodulatory and immunosuppressive therapies, the USF MS program conducts studies of the new therapies for early and late phases of the disease.
