Fellow Board Review
Weekly 1-hour didactic session taught by a faculty topic expert, focused on information that will be tested on Pulmonary and Critical Care board exams.
MICU Ultrasound Rounds
Regularly scheduled didactic in which the MICU fellow and faculty member instruct residents and interns in techniques of critical care ultrasound.
Pulmonary Grand Rounds
Weekly 1-hour lecture provided to our Division’s fellows, faculty, and non-division faculty on a topic relevant to current and future practice of Pulmonary or Critical Care.
ILD Multidisciplinary Conference
Weekly multidisciplinary review of all patients undergoing diagnostic evaluation for interstitial lung disease within the Tampa General Hospital system.
Fellow Lunch and Learn
Noon conference held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, focused on practical aspects of providing care and clinical problem-solving, such as oxygen delivery devices, cardiac pacing, speech therapy, chest tube management, and CRRT.
Journal Club
Held on the third Wednesday of each month, two fellows review a piece of primary literature for 30 minutes, with mentorship from faculty members to assist the fellow in developing critical analysis skills of literature related to Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine.
Tumor Board
A multidisciplinary conference that reviews the cases of patients at TGH and Moffitt who are being evaluated and treated for thoracic malignancy.
Airway Conference
A multidisciplinary conference that reviews the cases of patients at TGH with complex airway disease (such as stenosis, vasculitis, and traumatic injuries).
