Research Interests

• My research focuses on immunology and inflammation in immunologic and infectious viral diseases and cancers. Current research projects focus on molecular mechanisms of virus infection, development of nanoparticle enabled prophylactic/therapeutic gene transfer, development of nano particulate antivirals, molecular basis of genetic predisposition to inflammatory diseases including traumatic brain injury and cancers and application of nanobio technology to develop new diagnostics and therapeutics.
