Thank you for your interest in our program!

We offer a comprehensive twelve month fellowship program that is designed to train physicians to become experts in Acute Pain Medicine and Regional Anesthesiology. Our fellows  gain extensive hands-on experience and develop the skills necessary to excel in this highly specialized field.

What to Expect

The Acute Pain Service at Tampa General Hospital (TGH) is a dynamic team comprising attending anesthesiologists, advanced practice providers, and block nurses. Each month, the service performs over 300 nerve blocks, including continuous catheter placements (40%) and single-shot blocks (60%). Over the course of their training, fellows can expect to perform more than 1,000 blocks, ensuring a robust and immersive learning experience.

This fellowship offers a hybrid role, where fellows will spend 80% of their time in fellowship training and 20% practicing as an attending anesthesiologist.
