Pharmacy Plus

Dear Pharmacy Plus Customer:

Thank you for choosing USF Health Pharmacy Plus for your prescription needs. We appreciate being part of your health care team and hope we have been able to provide you with all your needed medications.

Our Pharmacy Plus location on the first floor of the USF Health Morsani Center for Advanced Healthcare on the USF campus will be operationally closed on November 20, 2026. We encourage you to refill your prescriptions as early as possible. November 20 is the final day for prescription pickup at the Pharmacy Plus location.

We want to help you transfer your prescriptions and your prescription records to another pharmacy and ensure that this transition is as seamless as possible. Please plan to avoid any interruptions in your medications and check with your insurance carrier to determine which pharmacies are covered by your plan.

You may transfer your prescriptions and prescription records to another location prior to November 20 by either:

  • Asking your health care provider to send new prescriptions to the covered pharmacy of your choice.

  • Contacting us at (813) 974-0133 and we will coordinate prescription refills, including reviewing eligibility for 90-day refills, and transfer your prescription and prescription records to the covered pharmacy of your choice.

Here is more specific insurance information for these groups:

  • State of Florida employees with Optum Rx: Visit welcome.optumrx.com/sofdms and select “Find a network pharmacy” to locate an in-network pharmacy. Call 800-547-9767 for assistance.

  • USFTGP employees with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama (BCBS of Alabama): TGH Outpatient Pharmacy and TGH Specialty Pharmacy are potential options.

  • USF students: Bulls Country Pharmacy, located at 12530 USF Bull Run Drive at the USF Student Health & Wellness Center, may be a resource for prescription transfers. Call 813-974-2071 for assistance with prescription transfers and insurance verification.

If you are unable to complete your prescription transfer before November 20, you can still reach us at (813) 974-0133 for assistance with transferring your prescriptions and prescription files. If USF is not notified of an alternative location, USF will transfer your prescription records to another pharmacy where any remaining refills may be filled. For those patients that do not identify an alternative location, a subsequent notice identifying where your prescription records will be transferred will be provided.

Thank you again for choosing USF Health Pharmacy Plus.
