Dr. Anderson received his doctorate degree in higher education administration from the University of South Florida (USF) and has been working with USF since 2006. His career began overseeing post-award activities in the Morsani College of Medicine (MCOM) Business Office. 

Over the years, Dr. Anderson has transitioned to directing the MCOM Office of Research. In his role he leads multiple research administrative units at USF Health and MCOM. His major areas of responsibilities include overseeing the MCOM sponsored research administration, managing the College’s research portfolio, and overseeing the business and financial operations for USF Health and the MCOM research mission.

Dr. Anderson serves on a variety of USF Health and MCOM committees across the university system. He is actively involved in various international and national research administration professional associations, in which he regularly presents at national conferences.
