Biography

Dr. Eric Clayman is a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon with advanced training in complex reconstruction, microsurgery, and peripheral nerve surgery. He completed his residency training in Plastic Surgery at the University of South Florida, where he developed his interest in complex reconstructive surgeries. He then completed a fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School with a focus on microsurgery and peripheral nerve surgery. His fellowship training involved complex head-to-toe reconstructive surgeries as well as extensive management and surgical care of amputees and treatment of phantom limb pain and nerve-related pain with advanced techniques including targeted muscle reinnervation and regenerative peripheral nerve interfaces. Dr. Clayman is excited to bring these skills and advanced techniques back to the University of South Florida to contribute to world-class care, education, and research.
