Our Pediatric Hematology/Oncology team is dedicated to providing a full range of the highest quality, compassionate, state-of-the-art care for infants, children, adolescents and young adults with cancer and other blood-related disorders. In the area of Pediatric Oncology, we have particular expertise in leukemia, lymphoma, brain tumors, solid tumors, non-malignant hematology, cancer late effects and survivorship. Our hematology interests include anemias, sickle cell disease, thalassemia, white cell disorders such as neutropenia, thrombocytopenia and other platelet disorders. We treat diseases of coagulation such as hemophilia, von Willebrand’s disease, and other bleeding disorders including hypercoagulation state.

Being a part of a multidisciplinary network of USF Health, we are able to provide our patients and their families with services including but not limited to: surgery, radiation, pathology, radiology, psychosocial support, art therapy, social work, patient and family education, physical and occupational therapy, nutrition counseling, spiritual guidance, palliative care, and hospice.

In addition, we are members of The Children’s Oncology Group (COG), the largest organization devoted exclusively to pediatric cancer research. Through the COG, we run multiple clinical trials for cancer, sickle cell and other blood disorders of children.
