The Executive Committee established the mission and values for the Neuroscience Institute (NSI) after conducting numerous focus groups and Town Halls soliciting staff input.

The EC mandate is to provide the resources (e.g. equipment, personnel, environment, etc.) necessary for the success of the enterprise. Individual PIs and Centers retain the autonomy to manage their respective day-to-day operations but must meet objectives set by the EC.
