Biography

My journey with Chiropractic began with going to Europe to cover American football. I met my future husband, so it was very fulfilling. I worked as an associate for two years then moved to Tampa, Florida to open my private practice. Along the way I have been fortunate to have thrown out the first pitch at the Tampa Bay Rays game, worked for the Tampa Lightning (NHL) for 9 years, worked Arena football for 15 years home and away and several other sports teams over the years. In 1982 I started the volunteer physicians’ program here at University of South Florida. I am lucky enough to have several championship rings and a Bowl ring from last year’s football team. 10 Years ago, I landed my dream job here at USF. I am the director of Chiropractic services at the Morsani College of Medicine. I am housed in the Department of Neurosurgery and Brain Repair. This involves teaching, treating patients and research. And finally, as a great nod to Chiropractic I have been awarded the Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Award for 32 consecutive quarters (8 years). And the story continues.
