Multiple Sclerosis

Overview

The Comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Center is a subspecialty program of the University of South Florida's Department of Neurology providing comprehensive care for patients with central nervous system (CNS) inflammatory diseases. The USF Comprehensive MS Center is comprised of highly-trained, experienced clinicians, researchers and educators. We serve as a tertiary referral center for the entire state of Florida.

Our team is comprised of experts in the diagnosis and management of MS and our program offers patients access to the latest research advancements in the field of MS. Additionally, our clinicians are experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of other CNS diseases, such as optic neuritis, transverse myelitis, neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder, and acute disseminated encephalomyelitis.

The USF Comprehensive MS Center is located on the main campus of the USF Morsani College of Medicine. Members of the MS division also see patients at Tampa General Hospital, our medical school’s main teaching hospital.
