Kellee Oller, MD FACP

Program Director
ollerk@usf.edu

Dr. Oller is the Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of South Florida. A Tampa native, she went to University of South Florida for her biology degree and medical doctorate. She remained at USF for residency training and subsequently as a faculty member for the inpatient ward service at Tampa General Hospital. During her time as faculty and Associate Program Director, Dr. Oller founded the Scholar’s Council - an innovative curriculum that blends online project tracking and mentorship with workshops to enhance scholarly activity skills. She has a passion for learning beyond the classroom: leading resident simulation training for procedures as well as code team leadership, preparing jeopardy-style games to test medical knowledge, and creating concise algorithmic study guides for board review. She has received multiple teaching awards and was recognized by the American College of Physicians as Teacher of the Year in 2017. As Program Director, she has demonstrated a dedication to the program and department, an innovative approach to program development, and continues the resident-centered environment this program promotes.

Helen is our program's Assistant Director. Helen began with the program in 2013 as the Program Coordinator. She then worked as the Program Administrator for USF's Cardiovascular Disease fellowships. After doing a quick year at BayCare Health System in the Physician Leadership Program, Helen came back to Internal Medicine in 2018. Helen enjoys working with residents and of course, working for USF. She is currently pursuing her MBA in Healthcare Analytics with USF.

Helen lives in Saint Petersburg. She and her husband are a rarity, real native Floridians. In her spare time, Helen enjoys spending time boating with her family and friends, and playing with her two cocker spaniels. Helen is a fan of SEC Football (Go Gators!), Soccer (Chelsea and Real Madrid), and most importantly, all the Tampa Bay Sports Teams.

Program Administrator
ashleyhagood@usf.edu

Prior to starting my GME career at WVU Medicine, I sold insurance for State Farm for 5 ½ years.  I held five licenses that included Property, Casualty, Life, Accident & Sickness and Credit.  In 2018, I transitioned into a Residency Program Manager for Plastic Surgery. In addition to Plastics, over the last three years, I’ve been able to work with the General Surgery Residency as well as starting two brand new Anesthesiology Fellowships: Chronic Pain Medicine and Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology (ACTA).  In July 2021, I became TAGME (Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education) certified earning the new title of Residency/Fellowship Program Administrator.

I’m originally from Gainesville, FL, though I went to High School (Morgantown High) and College (WVU) in West Virginia.  I’ve been eager to return to the Sunshine State after spending over two decades in the snowy mountains.  In my free time, I run an Etsy craft shop.  My items include resin coasters, glass etching, custom t-shirts, wood signs, embroidery, etc.  I’m also a huge movie buff.  You can always find me at the movie theater on the weekends.

I’ve very excited to be the newest addition to the Internal Medicine Residency.  I look forward to meeting each and every one of you.

Mary graduated from Florida State University with a degree in English Education. Shortly after graduating, she began working remotely for a social media company which allowed her to travel extensively and experience different cultures and - her favorite part - foods. Over the years she’s held on to her love for education and applies it in different areas of her life. Outside of business hours, she freelances as an illustrator, working mainly in the kid’s book market, with an ultimate goal of writing and illustrating her own children’s books. She is also currently studying Instructional Design, with a plan to directly apply her creative interests and love of education within this career field.
