Application Process
How to Apply
The 2025 Interview Season will be virtual, according to ACGME recommendations.
Application season: We only accept applications through IPFAS (Interventional Pulmonary Fellowship Application System) via the AIPPD (Association of Interventional Pulmonary Program Directors)
Interviews will be conducted on selected dates during September and October.
All appointments are made through the Medical Specialties Matching Program sponsored by the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) Specialties Matching Service.
We accept – in addition to US citizens – permanent residents and holders of valid J1 Visa.
Materials Required to Apply
All applications in the IPFAS system to the USF Health Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship must include these materials as supporting documentation:
- 3 letters of recommendations (one letter must be from PCCM program director)
- CV
- Personal Statement / Letter of intent
- Procedure Log (excel, pdf, or Word Format)
- USMLE or COMLEX scores
- NRMP applicant number (not required to submit application)
