Education

  • PhD, Immunology, University of Chicago, 1993
  • B.S., Life Sciences, MIT, 1988

Interdisciplinary and Emerging Signature Programs

  • Allergy, Immunology & Infectious Disease
  • Biomedical Engineering & Nanomedicine

Research Interests

  • We study the role of host-virus interactions in viral pathogenesis. In particular, we are interested in how respiratory syncytial virus affects host signal transduction pathways to enhance viral replication. We use a combination of biochemical, molecular and cell biological, and virological techniques to examine these questions.
