Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Division

Our Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Division is dedicated to advancing the use of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) in emergency settings. We offer comprehensive training through our EUFACS accredited Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowship, where fellows gain hands-on experience across a wide range of ultrasound applications, including ECHO, gallbladder, kidneys, aorta, 1st trimester pregnancy, and FAST, as well as advanced techniques such as TEE, ocular, musculoskeletal, and regional anesthesia.

Fellows work closely with experienced faculty and specialists from various departments, including obstetrics, radiology, and cardiology, and are involved in extensive clinical practice, research, and education. Our division utilizes state-of-the-art technology, including a cloud-based system for storing and reviewing ultrasound images, ensuring high-quality training and patient care.

In addition to clinical duties, our team participates in national ultrasound courses and offers unique opportunities for advanced procedural training through partnerships with leading institutions. The division is also actively engaged in cutting-edge research, contributing to the development of emergency ultrasound practices.
