The University of South Florida Professional Athletic Training program continually works to keep costs student-friendly with an in-state cost of tuition & fees of ~$26,000 and out-of-state at ~$52,000. These costs are at or below national averages for tuition and fees for graduate professional athletic training programs.

Scholarship Information 

The program offers various scholarships while enrolled in the program:

  1. David "Doc" Leffers Scholarship awarded to a rising 2nd year Athletic Training Student who has demonstrated the potential to become an outstanding Athletic Trainer. (up to 2 awarded annually)
  2. Kennedy Family Endowed Scholarship for Athletic Training awarded to Athletic Training Students who have demonstrated leadership and service initiatives and accomplishments both related to and that have benefitted the athletic training program at the University of South Florida and positively promoted the profession of athletic training. (up to 4 awarded annually)
  3. Kennedy Family Incoming Student Scholarship awarded to applicant(s) who applies prior to the December 1 priority admissions deadline will be eligible for an incoming student scholarship. Information will be shared with applicants who meet this deadline during their admissions cycle. These scholarships will be a one-time scholarship up to $1,500 awarded in the first semester of the program. 
  4. Jhanae Sunflower Scholarship awarded to a rising second year student that displays academic integrity, exemplary leadership, and a commitment to giving back to the community. The scholarship was setup by the Jhanae Sunflower Foundation and Jhanae's family to honor her legacy. The scholarship fund continues to be supported by faculty, staff, alumni, and the Jhanae Sunflower Foundation; and it our hope to soon grow the scholarship to endowed status to honor Jhanae’s legacy in perpetuity.
