Accreditation
The USF Athletic Training Program at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). CAATE is the agency responsible for accreditation of professional athletic training programs. CAATE is sponsored by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), The American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA). After the last comprehensive review, the USF Athletic Training Program was granted the maximum 10-year accreditation. The next comprehensive review is scheduled for 2028-2029.
