USF Health Pediatric Urology is led by the first urologist in the nation trained in both minimally invasive surgery and pediatric urology. We provide the most advanced care for complex urological conditions affecting the health of the urinary tract from pediatric through adulthood in both men and women, and other conditions of the male reproductive system. Through world-class medical and surgical care, USF Health urologists take a comprehensive approach to personalized patient care, integrating innovative diagnostic, therapeutic and treatment advances.
Our team offers evaluation and treatment of hydronephrosis (dilation of urinary tract), ureter obstruction, vesicoureteral reflux, hypospadias, hernias, undescended testis, stone disease, congenital renal abnormalities and ureteropelvic junction obstructions (UPJO). Surgical treatment focuses on reconstruction of kidney, upper tract and ureters.

Percutaneous renal surgery and ureteroscopy for complex stone disease
Circumcision when medically indicated:
Circumcisions are performed for recurrent balanitis/ posthitis, phimosis refractory to steroid creams and incomplete foreskin (hypospadias variant)
Elective circumcisions are not performed for pediatric patients at any age
