USF Health
is transitioning its in vitro fertilization (IVF) services and affiliating with Shady Grove Fertility (SGF), a premier fertility and IVF organization with
locations throughout Florida, as well as Georgia, Maryland, New York,
Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington DC. New patients may
schedule an appointment at any of the SGF Tampa locations by calling the SGF
New Patient Center at 1-888-761-1967 or submitting this brief online form.
USF staff members are contacting current USF Health IVF
patients to inform them about the affiliation and address any questions.
Patients may also reach a SGF Patient Liaison directly by calling 813-906-2285.
Patients
will benefit from this new affiliation, which combines clinical expertise with
academic teaching by way of a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility
fellowship training program led by USF’s newly appointed Division Director and
newly instated SGF-assigned physician, Anthony Imudia, MD.
Dr.
Imudia will remain as teaching faculty member with USF Health while providing
patient care with SGF. The SGF Tampa practice was formed in 2018, and
provides convenient access to highly specialized fertility care, including
diagnostic testing and low and high tech treatment options, such as
intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), donor egg
treatment, egg freezing, oncofertility and LGBTQ family building.
Dr.
Imudia will see patients in SGF Tampa’s Wesley Chapel and Westshore locations.
