  • While we try to provide most services free of charge to patients, there are some services such as prescriptions, procedures or surgeries that we do not have the resources to cover. As a result, patients may have to look for other resources in the community to provide additional assistance, or they may ultimately have to pay out of pocket.

  • We suggest applying for the Hillsborough County Health Care Plan, a program that acts as an insurance program for Hillsborough County residents who qualify based on income. If you are currently unemployed, you may be eligible for Medicaid or other free clinics serving different areas.

Please visit our Resources for more information.

  • Thank you for your interest in our program and volunteering. We always have a need for Spanish interpreters for the clinic. If you are a USF undergraduate student interested in volunteering as an interpreter, please email a statement of interest and your CV to bridge.interpreting.team@gmail.com

If you are an Honors Undergraduate student at USF, there are opportunities to help as a quality control (QC) staff in our office with our clinic manager. After being involved as a QC, there might be an opportunity to graduate to the patient facing roles in the clinic if needed.

Undergraduate students interested in public health can email bridgepublichealth@gmail.com to get information about becoming a volunteer HIV testing counselor at the USF Health BRIDGE Clinic. Applications open annually in the Spring semester.

  • USF students do not qualify to be seen at the USF Health BRIDGE Clinic. Students should utilize Student Health Services for general health care. However, we do provide HIV testing to students via our College of Public Health services at the USF Health BRIDGE Clinic.
