Executive Student Leadership Board Spotlights

This award honors an individual who served on the Executive Student Leadership Board throughout the past academic year, and was chosen as the Member of the Year by their fellow peers. The ESLB Member of the Year Award recognizes someone who has gone above and beyond in fulfilling the duties of their role. Examples include:

  • Assisting SSS staff in planning and implementing programs, events, and initiatives
  • Leading USF Health tours for prospective students
  • Serving as a mentor to their peers
  • Organizing, and participating in, IPE opportunities

Erica was integral in the planning and implementation of the ESLB service project this year. The board decided to participate in Momma Fest by hosting educational booths for children and families. Erica volunteered to assist with marketing for the event and took it upon herself to seek and receive donations from Zoo Tampa. At Momma Fest, Erica volunteered at the American Heart Association Booth and even took leftover boxes of CPR mannequins to donate to USF Health and a local nonprofit. It has been wonderful working with Erica over the years as she truly brings a light to the board. We are proud of her accomplishments and wish her all the best as she graduates and begins her graduate education at USF Health. Congratulations Erica!
