Student Resource Center at CAMLS

The University of South Florida’s Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS) is one of the world’s largest, free-standing simulation facilities exclusively dedicated to training healthcare professionals. CAMLS is part of the USF Health Downtown Initiative. 

CAMLS provides simulation experiences for educating students; training health care faculty in simulation education; and preparing health care professionals to acquire, maintain and enhance their clinical practice to meet today’s workforce needs and improve patient care in Tampa Bay, Florida and around the globe.   • Study Space

    camls study spaceFrom a collaborative study session in one of our group study rooms, to quiet, individual study spaces, USF Health students have access to an environment that allows you to focus at the CAMLS Student Resource Center. No need to book an appointment as all study spaces are available to USF Health Students on a first come, first served basis. The Student Resource Center also offers various resources for students to use, such as free printing and computers.
  • Student Lounge

    camls student loungeThe CAMLS Student Resource Center comes equipped with dedicated space for students to connect, eat, stream your favorite shows through the Lounge’s smart TV, or just relax! So feel free to drop by in between classes, or come regroup before fighting traffic on the way home. Come and enjoy the space and the resources at your fingertips.
  • Student Printing

    camls student printingThrough a partnership with Student Government and USF Information Technology, students have access to a printer / scanner and are allowed to print up to $2.50 per day for free at the CAMLS Student Resource Center and at various locations on the USF campus. Any amount over the allotted $2.50 a day can be printed using USF Bull Bucks. For more information, see the Class Prep- Printing on Campus webpage: http://www.usf.edu/it/class-prep/printing.aspx.

    Student printing at the MDD building is located on floor 2M at the Florida Blue Knowledge Exchange.

  • Serenity Room

    camls serenity roomSerenity Room provides a private space where students can relax, meditate, pray and reflect. Located in the CAMLS Student Resource Center, the Serenity Room serves as a place for students to escape from the fast-paced college life.
  • Lactation Room

    camls lactation roomUSF Health students who are new moms have access to a private lactation room, equipped with a refrigerator for storage at the CAMLS Student Resource Center. The Lactation Room is available on a first come, first serve basis during normal operation hours. To access please obtain the key from the receptionist or security manager at the CAMLS Welcome Desk. The room should be locked and key returned promptly after use.
