The Research Methodology and Biostatistics (RMB) Core is composed of three dedicated faculty members and 5 research staff committed to supporting the University of South Florida community in advancing high‑quality research (i.e. methodological rigor).

Our Mission

We provide comprehensive research support services to all USF‑affiliated investigators, regardless of project stage. Our goal is to foster a collaborative, supportive environment that meets the evolving research needs of faculty and students at the Morsani College of Medicine.

Teaching & Scholarship

In addition to our service mission, the RMB Core is deeply committed to education and scholarly activity.

• Delivered numerous workshops on research methodology, evidence‑based medicine, and dissemination practices nationally and internationally

• Active teaching contributions across MCOM courses, national and international organizations.

• Collaborative research with departments across MCOM and partners nationally and internationally

• More than 300 peer‑reviewed publications on diverse health topics in the past five years
