USF Southeast Consortium for Occupational Risk and Engagement

What We Do

What is SCORE?

The Southeast Consortium for Occupational Risk and Engagement (SCORE) is the coordinating entity for occupational safety and health research, professional education, regulatory training, and employer support across Florida and the southeastern United States. By integrating three University of South Florida programs, SCORE provides a coordinated approach to research, education, public health practice, and continuing education.

SCORE brings together Sunshine ERC, USF OTIEC, and USF SafetyFlorida to deliver these four pillars and connect employers, workers, researchers, students, and community partners with comprehensive occupational safety and health resources.

Our Mission

To advance worker safety, health, and well-being through an integrated framework of research, education, training, safety and health consultation services, and stakeholder engagement.

Our Vision

A Southeast in which every worker returns home safe and healthy, supported by a robust infrastructure of research, education, and practice.
