Postgraduate Training Programs

About Our Program

Clinical pharmacy services have been established in the USF Health Department of Family Medicine for over 20 years, where longitudinal clinical rotations will take place. Several clinical electives are available to customize the learning experience to the resident's interest. Residents will also complete longitudinal rotations in population health, lead a longitudinal research project, facilitate lectures and skills labs within TCOP, and participate in the USF TCOP Teaching Certificate Program.

It is our goal to prepare graduates for Clinical Pharmacy Specialist positions in a variety of outpatient clinical settings, entry-level faculty positions at a College/School of Pharmacy, and eligibility to sit for board certification.

Our PGY2 Ambulatory Care pharmacy residency program is currently in Candidate Accreditation Status with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacist (ASHP). Our application process opens through PhORCAS in the fall, and we look forward to the opportunity to review your application at that time.
