Education

Biography

Dr. Carris is a Tenured Associate Professor at the USF Health Taneja College of Pharmacy and is the college's interim Assistant Dean of Clinical Affairs. Dr. Carris completed his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Florida and subsequently completed a PGY1 residency in Pharmacy Practice at TriStar Centennial Medical Center and a 2-year fellowship in Family Medicine at the University of Florida. His current clinical practice focuses on polypharmacy, medication adherence, and deprescribing. His research focuses on better ways to prevent diabetes and heart disease.

Research Interests
