Funded by the William R. Kenan Jr. Charitable Trust Scholarship Program, this scholarship supports Accelerated Second Degree Bachelor of Nursing students in the first semester of the program. The program provides 400 scholarships of $5,000 each, over three years, with preference for those with demonstrated financial need. 

• 100 recipients in 2025–26
• 150 recipients in 2026–27
• 150 recipients in 2027–28

These scholarships will be distributed across our three instructional campuses: Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota-Manatee.

• Awarded in the first semester of the ABSN program
• Covers full tuition and fees for that semester
• Enables students to focus on coursework

 

 

 

Applications will be made available to eligible students who meet the verified NursingCAS deadline for the campus they intend to attend. Specific deadlines vary by campus and term. Please review the accelerated second degree application timelines for detailed information.
