The baccalaureate degree in nursing, master’s degree program in nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs at the University of South Florida is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
The USF baccalaureate and master’s degree programs in nursing have achieved full accreditation by CCNE through December 31, 2021. The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program is fully accredited through December 31, 2025.
We are scheduled to undergo program review on the baccalaureate, master’s, and DNP programs during a virtual evaluation on January 20-22, 2021. As a part of that review for re-accreditation, all constituents are welcome to submit comments concerning the program’s qualifications for accreditation.
The CCNE, a division of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, is officially recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as an autonomous accrediting agency for baccalaureate, graduate, and residency programs in nursing.
The master's and Nurse Anesthesia major in the Doctor of Nursing Practice programs are accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) until 2022.
