Goal 1: Graduate physicians recognized for excellence in clinical acumen and scientific inquiry, as evidenced by measurable educational and career outcome data exceeding national norms.
Ensure each student develops a defined area of focus beyond core clinical training, such as research, quality improvement, community service, medical education or leadership with documented progress by FY2031.
Increase MD/PhD program enrollment by enrolling an average of four new students annually by FY2031.
Demonstrate measurable improvement in student readiness for residency by increasing the percentage of students rated entrustable in core specialty-aligned competencies by FY2031.
