The USF residency training program in diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology consists of both academic and private practice groups which staff the various affiliated institutions. This arrangement affords resident training with subspecialized academic and private practice staff as well as staff who practice general diagnostic radiology in both hospital-based and outpatient imaging center scenarios.

The small number of fellows in our program allows residents the opportunity to see a variety of cases and to participate in many interventional procedures, which build skills needed to practice general diagnostic radiology.

Residents interested in pursuing academic careers will find staff and resources to support clinical research endeavors in various subspecialty areas.
