Fellowships

MRI Imaging Fellowship

The MRI Fellowship at USF Health is a comprehensive 12-month clinical training program designed to provide in-depth experience across a broad range of MRI applications. Fellows gain exposure to high-volume, high-complexity cases while working with state-of-the-art imaging technology and a collaborative team of subspecialty-trained faculty.

Fellows are encouraged to customize their training by focusing on two or three MRI subspecialties, choosing from:

  • Body MRI
  • Musculoskeletal (MSK) MRI
  • Cardiac MRI
  • Neuro MRI

Additional elective time is available to explore individual academic or clinical interests, research, or interdisciplinary collaborations. Fellows are actively involved in learning advanced and emerging MR techniques and protocols, preparing them for both academic and high-level private practice careers.

Beyond clinical responsibilities, fellows participate in the education of radiology residents, medical students, and visiting trainees. Our program is enriched by a robust academic environment that includes:

  • Subspecialty didactic lectures
  • Weekly multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards
  • Case-based teaching sessions and journal clubs

For detailed information about specific subspecialties and our faculty, please visit our Body MRI, MSK MRI, Neuro MRI, and Cardiac MRI fellowship pages.
