Welcome to the Department of Radiology at the University of South Florida.

I am delighted that you are exploring our educational programs and learning more about our department. Whether you are a medical student discovering the field of radiology, a resident building your expertise, a fellow pursuing advanced training, or a practicing physician seeking lifelong learning opportunities, we are honored to be part of your educational journey.

Radiology is a remarkable specialty. Every day, we have the opportunity to combine science, technology, critical thinking, and compassion to improve the lives of patients. The privilege of helping train future radiologists is one of the most rewarding aspects of our profession, and it is a responsibility that our faculty take seriously.

At USF Radiology, we believe that great education extends far beyond teaching image interpretation. Our goal is to help each learner develop the knowledge, confidence, professionalism, and judgment needed to excel in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment. We strive to create a supportive culture where curiosity is encouraged, questions are welcomed, and every trainee is empowered to reach their full potential.

Our faculty are deeply committed to mentorship and to helping learners achieve their personal and professional goals. We celebrate diversity of thought and experience, value collaboration, and foster an environment where innovation, discovery, and continuous improvement can thrive. Through exposure to diverse clinical experiences, cutting-edge imaging technology, and meaningful research opportunities, our trainees are prepared not only to succeed today, but to become leaders who will shape the future of our field.

What makes our department truly special is our people. We are a community of educators, clinicians, researchers, and learners who share a passion for excellence and a commitment to improving patient care. Together, we learn from one another, support one another, and work toward a common purpose.
