- Neonatal and Infant Clinical and Experimental Airway Biology Laboratory

- Focused on pathobiology of respiratory disorders, especially with respiratory viruses in high-risk populations such as Trisomy 21 and premature patients
- Learned airway epithelial cell culture techniques and wet lab training Utilized Minitab for data analysis
- Developing a human epithelial model ofTrisomy 21 to examine immune response and airway response to viruses
- Worked with co-fellow Dr. Aguilar to utilize longitudinal extraction in the NICU to map trajectories in extreme prematurity
