Neonatal and Infant Clinical and Experimental Airway Biology Laboratory
2019 - 2022, Washington, D.C: Principal Investigator - Dr. Gustavo Nino
Focused on pathobiology of respiratory disorders, especially with respiratory viruses in high-risk populations such as Trisomy 21 and premature patients
Learned airway epithelial cell culture techniques and wet lab training Utilized Minitab for data analysis
Developing a human epithelial model ofTrisomy 21 to examine immune response and airway response to viruses
Worked with co-fellow Dr. Aguilar to utilize longitudinal extraction in the NICU to map trajectories in extreme prematurity
Outside Manuscript Peer Review: "Pili Annulati: Is It a New Finding in Cystic Fibrosis?"
