Goals

  • Benchmarks:   

    1. Overall and Science GPA meet or exceed the national averages reported in the most recent PAEA By the Numbers report.
    2. GRE Quantitative and Verbal scores meet or exceed national averages reported in the most recent PAEA By the Numbers report.
    3. Matriculating cohorts who, in aggregate, possess at least 10 different roles and setting combinations of direct patient care experiences as reported by the applicant.
  • Benchmarks:                

    1. Graduation rate is ≥ national average reported by the most recent PAEA By-the-Numbers report.
  • Benchmarks:   

    1. First-time PANCE pass rate ≥ national average reported by NCCPA
    2. At least 80 percent of end of program survey respondents will rate their preparation in medical knowledge and clinical competence as 4 or higher on a 5-point Likert scale.
    3. Students will achieve a class average of at least 90% on all elements of the Capstone course, including summative assessments.
  • Benchmarks:   

    1. At least 85% of students achieve passing scores on the program’s OSCE assessments
    2. Mean preceptor evaluation score of a ≥4 on a 5-point Likert scale in the patient care domain of the clinical rotation evaluations.
  • Benchmarks:

    At least 30% of alumni survey respondents, in aggregate, report active professional involvement within 5 years of graduation:

    • Membership in a local, state, or national PA organization (AAPA, FAPA, PAEA, specialty organization, etc.)
    • Serving as a clinical preceptor for PA students
    • Holding a faculty/instructor appointment or health professions education role
