Miles for Migraine Tampa 2025
Walk, Run & Relax
Join us for the 6th Annual Miles for Migraine 2-Mile Walk, 5K Run, and Relax event! Saturday, February 8th at the USF Tampa campus.
Together, we’re raising awareness and funds to support migraine and headache research, treatment, and education. Funds from this event directly benefit Miles for Migraine’s free programs and the USF Tampa Headache Center, advancing local research and fellowship training programs.
About Us
Headache Center
The USF Health Headache Center, founded in 1993, was created as a division Pain Medicine Program. We are one of a very few academic headache centers in the country.
The USF Headache Center is a clinical and teaching facility that gives trainees the highest quality of preparation so that they can make contributions to patient care and advance the level of knowledge of headache medicine.
The MCOM Fellowship program, one of few accredited in the nation by the UCNS, prepares Fellows for a career in clinical headache practice or academic headache medicine and/or research. The Headache Center is involved in research to provide our patients with the opportunity to help in advancing science in the areas of Headache and Facial Pain.
Pain Medicine Center
The USF Health Pain Center was founded in 1986 in conjunction with Tampa General Hospital. Our affiliate hospitals now include: Tampa General Hospital, The James Hailey Veterans Hospital, and The H.L. Moffitt Cancer Center.
In addition to treating patients, the USF Health Pain Medicine Center is a teaching facility that gives trainees the highest quality of preparation so that they can make contributions to patient care and advance the level of knowledge of pain medicine.
The ACGME has accredited six (6) Pain Medicine Fellowship positions. The duration of the fellowship is one (1) year reflecting the necessity to master knowledge and skill in this complex area.
Our Center is also involved in research to provide our patients with the opportunity to help in advancing science.
