To support research and scholarly activities through the purchase of biomedical research equipment and supplies, and providing seed grant support for research projects and students.
Kayoko Ishizuka Memorial Postdoctoral Travel Award (250178)
Supports the research activities of postdoctoral fellows by providing registration and travel funds to scientific meetings. This provides and opportunity to present results, learn new techniques, and network with other professionals, thus enhancing their training.
Our Mission and Values
The mission of the department of Molecular Medicine here at the University of South Florida is to provide for the education of students and professionals of the health and biomedical sciences through the creation of a scholarly environment that fosters excellence in the lifelong goals of education and research.
The Department of Molecular Medicine is a graduate program that provides an outstanding research and training environment for the education of Masters and Ph.D. biomedical students who will ultimately be in involved in solving basic problems in pre-clinical and clinical research relevant to the prevention, treatment and cure of cancer, infectious diseases, metabolic syndromes, immunological deficiencies, neurological disorders and more.
