The USF Swallowing Center is proud of the services provided and grateful for the opportunity to conduct research. As an academic institution, our aim is to provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients suffering disorders of the swallowing mechanism and the esophagus and to advance the clinical and scientific knowledge of these disorders.
We hope that our research improves the lives of individuals with dysphagia. Since 2011:
The prestigious 2019 Dodds Donner Lecture at the Dysphagia Research Society meeting, highlighting the research conducted by his Swallow Center team, Dr. Stephanie Watts and Joy Gaziano.
We highlight the importance of a multiphase swallowing assessment and provide clinical protocol guidelines along with the diagnostic accuracy of our esophageal sweep.
