Our mission is to provide the highest level of care to our diverse inpatient population with a commitment to quality, service and educating the physicians of tomorrow.

Our group is currently comprised of over 30 board-certified internal medicine physicians practicing inpatient medicine at Tampa General Hospital. Utilizing both resident and attending services we care for a broad range of patients with a wide variety of medical issues. This year we will care for approximately 13,000 patients admitted to TGH.

Present in the hospital 24 hours a day, our physicians provide patient-centered care delivered via a multi-disciplinary approach that recognizes and attends to patients and their family members. We achieve this care in a cost appropriate manner with a focus on compassion and patient safety. Dedicated to advancing the delivery of hospitalist care, our faculty hold a variety of leadership positions within USF's Morsani College of Medicine as well as TGH and are recognized for their excellence throughout the community.
