Biography

Dr. Gupta is an academic hospitalist with USF Hospital Medicine. Dr. Gupta graduated from the University of Southampton in the UK in 2004. Following a circuitous route, she completed her residency at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago in 2011. She has subsequently held numerous academic positions in undergraduate and graduate medical education. Since joining USF, she has expanded her continuing professional development footprint. She currently serves as the Program Director for the Academy of Distinguished Educators at the Morsani College of Medicine and the Program Director for Faculty Development with the HCA/USF GME Consortium. Her clinical and academic interests include clinical reasoning, interdisciplinary communication, and transitions to residency. Her biggest joys come from mentoring, coaching, and supporting learners and colleagues.
