Florida Medical Licenses
The State of Florida requires that all practicing physicians hold a valid Florida medical training license in order to provide healthcare services. Resident physicians who are officially enrolled in an accredited post-graduate training program recognized by the state must either hold a valid full license in the State of Florida or a valid training license in the state of Florida. Residents without a training license or a full license in the State of Florida may not participate in patient care.
M.D. Licenses
- Initial Application : Training License
The Graduate Medical Education office will provide financial assistance and support during the application process. This applies to both an MD and DO applications.

- Renewal Application : Training License
The Graduate Medical Education Office will provide financial assistance and support for the renewals of a MD/DO training license.

- Initial Application : Full Medical License
The Graduate Medical Education office does NOT provide financial assistance or support when applying for a full medical license. This process must be completed by the individual applying for the FULL license.

- Renewal Application : Full Medical License
The Graduate Medical Education office does not provide financial assistance or support when renewing a full medical license.

D.O. Licenses
