Dr. Grichnik is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis (B.S), Harvard Medical School (M.D.) and Baylor College of Medicine (Ph.D. – Cell Biology). He completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Neuroscience at Baylor College of Medicine, a medical internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and his residency in dermatology at Duke University Medical Center. He is an internationally recognized expert in Melanoma, Confocal Microscopy and Dermoscopy.

Dr. Grichnik’s vision is for the Department to serve as a center of excellence for Dermatology on the Gulf Coast of Florida, and leverage the resources of all community partners; Tampa General Hospital, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and the James A. Haley VAMC. He is dedicated to growing the tripartite mission of USF Health: Medical Education, Clinical Research and Patient Care.
