Florida Health Information Center
The Florida Health Information Center (FHIC) provides accessible, evidence-based public health information for Florida’s residents, health professionals, and policymakers. FHIC aggregates, evaluates, and disseminates trusted resources to promote health literacy and informed decision-making statewide.
Lawton and Rhea Chiles Center
The Chiles Center integrates evidence-based research, education, practice, and service to advance public policy that supports the health and well-being of mothers, children, families, and communities locally and globally.
Occupational Safety and Health Administration Education Center
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration Education Center advances worker health and safety through two key programs: USF SafetyFlorida, Florida’s OSHA 21(d) Consultation Program, and the OSHA Training Institute Education Center. Together, they provide free safety consultations for small businesses and deliver OSHA-authorized training courses across the region. By promoting job hazard recognition and regulatory compliance, this Center supports a safer, more productive workforce statewide.
Sunshine Education and Research Center
Funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Sunshine ERC promotes graduate training and research in occupational health and safety. As one of only 18 NIOSH-funded centers nationwide, it prepares professionals to address workplace health risks and prevent occupational injuries and illnesses.
USF Center for Social Marketing
The USF Center for Social Marketing applies evidence-based strategies to strengthen community capacity for disease prevention and health promotion. Using community-based prevention marketing, it works with organizations to drive policy, program, and systems change in public health.
