This allows us to offer the highest clinical expertise in all aspects of urology.  Our faculty are nationally and internationally known thought-leaders in the field and hold various leadership positions in a variety of organizations.  The Department of Urology has one of the highest surgical volumes in the country.  This top tier clinical footprint provides a center of excellence model for the management of the various urological conditions. Our team currently includes eleven clinical faculty members, two clinical fellows, four advanced practice providers and fifteen residents. 

We also actively participate in research.  These additional domains is what encompasses a full service clinical-academic urology platform.  We offer various novel therapies on clinical trials, undertake meaningful translational research and focus on improving surgical outcomes and quality of care through health services research. Our faculty have published their work in a variety of publications, and other venues.  A number of our faculty hold editorial positions at leading journals. 

We take pride in helping form graduating medical students into future board certified urologists.  This requires formal teaching and training algorithms and works in synergy with the expertise of the faculty.  We also train medical students, nursing students, advance practice provider students, fellows, and also provide educational value to the practicing urologist.  Each year we graduate three residents from our Urology program. Our graduates choose to pursue careers in private practice or academic careers.
