Viviana De Assis, DO

Viviana De Assis, DO

Dr. Viviana De Assis completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida with a major in molecular biology and microbiology. She attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. She completed a transitional rotating internship at St. Petersburg General Hospital, followed by training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. After serving a 2-year tour at Eglin Air Force Base as a generalist OBGYN, Dr. De Assis joined the University of South Florida as a fellow physician in MFM. Her clinical and research interests in Maternal-Fetal Medicine include maternal sepsis, preterm birth, diabetes, and global health. 

Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors, running, kayaking, time with family, and time at the beach. 

Claudio Schenone Giugni, MD

Dr. Claudio Schenone completed his medical school at the University of Carabobo in Valencia, Venezuela. He completed his training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. His clinical and research interests in Maternal-Fetal Medicine include fetal therapy and ultrasound. 

Outside of work, he enjoys the beach and staying active, playing soccer and tennis.

Peeraya Sawangkum, MD

Dr. Peeraya Sawangkum completed her undergraduate studies and medical school at the University of South Florida. She stayed at USF College of Medicine for residency training in obstetrics and gynecology, serving as community service coordinator throughout residency and administrative chief during her PGY-4 year. Her interests include medical education, healthcare policy, and health disparities.

Outside of work, she enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with family - especially at the beach!

Jasmine Edghill, MD

Dr. Jasmine Edghill completed her undergraduate education at the Georgia Institute of Technology, earning a BS in Psychology. She completed medical school at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. She finished her OBGYN residency at Virginia Tech Carilion/ Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA, where she served as administrative chief resident. Her interests include health disparities in medicine, community outreach, multi-fetal gestation, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, and preterm birth.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, eating, and dancing.
