The Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery in the Department of Neurosurgery, Brain and Spine is committed to excellence in pediatric neurosurgical care, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Our team of board-certified pediatric neurosurgeons provide comprehensive evaluation and management across the full spectrum of pediatric neurosurgical disorders, integrating advanced surgical techniques, emerging technologies, and evidence-based practice.

Faculty members are dedicated to addressing the complex neurological needs of infants, children, and adolescents while advancing the academic mission of the institution through clinical innovation, scholarly activity, and trainee education.

In partnership with John Hopkins All Children's Hospital, our physicians work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework to deliver high-quality care and contribute to ongoing advancements in pediatric neurosurgery.

John Hopkins All Children's Hospital

Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital is a leading center for pediatric treatment, education and research. All Children’s provides specialized care for children of all ages, from newborns through teens. The faculty works closely with specially trained nurses, therapists, pharmacists and other caring professionals who understand the medical, social and emotional needs of each stage of childhood and adolescence.

Tampa General Hospital

Tampa General Hospital (TGH) is affiliated with the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine and serves as the primary teaching hospital for the university, and the Department of Neurosurgery. TGH is the area’s only Level 1 Trauma Center and is one of just three burn centers in Florida. Critically ill or injured patients are transported in from 23 surrounding counties to received advanced care, including neurosurgical services. Of the over 1,000 beds at TGH, 32 of those are dedicated Neuroscience ICU beds, located next to the 18 bed Trauma ICU, accommodating a total 50 Neuro-trauma ICU beds
