Research Interests
- Our Lab is interested in zDHHC9, the Ras Palmitoyl transferase. In the last decade, mutations in zDHHC9 have been reported to cause X Linked Intellectual Disability. Revealing the molecular mechanisms of how zDHHC9 traffics and interacts with its substrates is crucial to further understand and contribute to enhance the livability of people with XLID.
