Biography

Dr. Ball is one of the USF Main Hospitalists. Dr. Ball received her doctorate degree at San Juan Bautista Medical School in Puerto Rico in 2009. She completed her residency program in internal medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2013. After completing her internal medicine residency program, she became an assistant professor at Rutgers University Hospital from 2013-2015. Dr. Ball also completed a fellowship in infectious diseases at the USF Health Program. In 2017, Dr. Ball decided to join the USF Main Hospitalist group, and since joining the group, she has participated in the antimicrobial stewardship committee. She can read, speak, and write at an advanced level in both English and Spanish, making her fluent in both languages. She loves spending time with her family, going to the beach, and traveling in her free time.
