Biography

Dr. Deshpande is a hospitalist with the USF Main group. He is originally from India but grew up here in the Tampa Bay area. Dr. Deshpande did his undergraduate education at the University of Florida, then completed a master’s program, medical school, and internal medicine residency, all at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. His career goal is to become involved in academic medicine. He is an avid sports fan and follows the Florida Gators and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, photography, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
