Research Interests
- We are studying the human microbiome in clinical applications and in vitro co-culture with organ cells as a model system. Another area of research includes biochemistry and drug discovery related to membrane transport proteins and molecular parasitology, including opportunistic microbial pathogens such as protozoan parasites and pathogenic fungi.
